Located in the heart of Cleveland, Redland City, The Red Place was established as a co-working incubator for enterprising Redlands businesses by founders Paul Bishop and Elise Parups.
Opened in 2014, Elise Parups and Paul Bishop assisted approximately 23 businesses and facilitated hundreds of community events, workshops and training days.
Incubation included co-working facilities, communications assistance, business development, event spaces and networking events, to help start -ups and new ventures move beyond their garages and front rooms.
The Red Place became a hub for creative and enterprising pursuits and sustained momentum until 2018, when a change of circumstances and rising rental costs became counterproductive to the “for community-benefit” model.
The Red Place was closed in December 2018.
